Hi,

I wanted to have a chance to thank all of you for coming and visiting me at the Beachfront Inn. My parents, Tammy and Terry, bought the Inn for me in 2004 since they thought I needed a job. Since that time I have greeted hundreds of friends both 2 legged and 4 legged.

I especially appreciate everyone who gives me treats, although, I’m getting a bit concerned about my girth and cannot run quite as fast as I used to. (I would appreciate your keeping the treats a secret from my parents as they think they are they only ones who give me any!) Those of you who visited in 2006 made have heard of my unfortunate run in with a car. Needless to say, the car won and I ended up losing a toe and feeling very sorry for myself. To make matters worse, I thought I knew better than my parents and kept going to the beach and then got my little foot infected!  What a mess for me and my parents! However, the sympathy treats I received from everyone were super!

In January of 2008, I had a large tumor removed from my spleen! Wow, were mom and dad worried then as the vet wasn’t sure I would pull through. But he removed my spleen with the tumor and I am as feisty as ever! Mom and Dad are still sort of worn out, however!

As the 2008 season approaches, I get more and more excited about seeing all of you and playing for hours on the beach. Yes, I still love eating dead crayfish and breathing in your faces. HAHA, I think the looks on your faces are priceless when I do that!

I’m going to rest up now so I have lots of energy when you arrive. Please don’t forget any extra bones you aren’t using as I can never have too many. As a special gift, my mom is preparing little treat bags for all of my furry friends. That way, I’m not expected to share as I hate sharing!

Drive safely and I’ll see you this summer after I finish my nap.
